My name is James Simon. I am 10 years old and I am in P2 (Primary 2). I have lived in this refugee settlement for 7 years. Both my parents died. I now stay with my grandmother. We all sleep in the same room. We do not have much.

At Ubuntu Model Primary School I like the good teaching. My favorite subject is English Literacy.

I am called Nyeko Dickson. I am 10 years old and in P3 (Primary 3). I have lived in the settlement with my mother for 7 years. My father died so at home we lack of many basic needs. Life is not easy.

At school I like Math and Literacy.

My name is Mary Jabe. I am 11. I am in P3 (Primary 3). I live in the settlement with my parents but we are very poor. They can not help me with school.

My favorite subjects are English and Math. I like the support I get from the teachers and other children at Ubuntu Model Primary School. Last week some of my classmates gave notebooks to me and other children who cannot afford the books.

My name is Wani Robert and I am 12 years old. I am in P2 (Primary 2). I am an orphan. My parents died. I live with my aunt but we are poor. Some days we only have one meal or even no food. I have lived here for 7 years.

At my school (Ubuntu Model Primary School) I like the teaching and my favorite subject is Maths.
