Celebrating Refugee Women in Tech

This is a wonderful milestone worth celebrating and highlighting the impact of digital skills on refugee women’s empowerment.

We proudly celebrate the graduation of 95 refugee women who have successfully completed a 6-month ICT Skills Training Program at Ubuntu Tech Training Centre in Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement.

What started as a learning journey six months ago has culminated in a proud graduation ceremony. Through dedication, resilience, and hard work, these women have gained valuable digital skills that will open doors to employment, entrepreneurship, innovation, and greater opportunities for their futures.

This achievement is more than a graduation. It is a testament to the power of education, empowerment, and inclusion in transforming lives and communities.

These women have overcome challenges, embraced technology, and acquired skills that will help them build brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.

We celebrate their courage, determination, and commitment to growth. Their success reminds us that when women are empowered with knowledge and skills, entire communities benefit.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our donor and partner, Women’s WorldWide Web (W4), for their dedicated support towards this ICT skilling program for refugee women and girls. This support reflects a strong commitment to empowering refugee communities through education, skills development, and digital inclusion.

Congratulations to our 95 graduates! We are proud of your achievement and look forward to witnessing your continued success.
